This should be interesting…

So I want to try doing this, but we’ll see how well it actually goes. I want to take a picture of the same exact scene every day at approximately the same time. Then I can put them all together at the end to see how the scene changed. I’m sure there’s a term for this kind of photography but I don’t know it. I only have 2 photos so far. Let’s just hope that I can actually keep up with it.

The only difference between those 2 photos is 24 hours, almost exactly. ^^” I’m kind of excited about this. The main reason that I thought to do this is so that I can see the change in the color of the trees. I’m told that the Autumn foliage can be amazing. I want to see how drastic the change is. ^_^

Our tour bus just passed the Kyoto Volks store. That’s the Japanese company that sells the dolls that I collect. (volksusa.com,volks.co.jp) I need to make it a point to come back to Kyoto for that and to check out Ryouan-ji. (Sorry, Clark. The tour group had a really tight schedule.) I’m sure there’s a lot more that I want to see too. I need to make a list of the places that I’d like to visit while I’m in Japan.

I took a bunch of pictures today, but I’ll get them uploaded tomorrow. Tonight is a birthday party for one of the other exchange students. ^_^V

I managed to watch the new episodes of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the other day. Now I have a horrible craving for a cheese pizza. Heh. Luckily for me there are Pizza Huts in Japan. I even found the website with an English menu and online ordering instructions in English. Excellent. ^_^ I haven’t had nearly enough cheese since I arrived in Japan. I miss it.

This weekend I will be going with a group of students to Kyoto to visit Nijou Castle, Kinkaku-ji, Nishiki Market and see “yu-zen” dyeing. I’ll be sure to take a ton of pictures.
